Palm Cove Marina was a short 4 hour cruise from our St Augustine marina and provided an excellent stop for our shake down cruise. Convenient to a Publix, Target and West Marine, we were able to make some repairs to the boat and some minor additions that would make cruising easier.
Since this was our first stop after leaving our home marina, I was anxious about docking at an unfamiliar dock but the staff at Palm Cove was helpful even in a some what windy condition. Cost was $2.00/ft plus $15 for 50amp electric. Diesel at the time was $5.10 and pump outs only $5 at the fuel dock. We didn’t need either, but thought the pump out price was really reasonable. They also have a mobile pump out for $25.
On site there are a number of amenities including a laundry facility ($1.00 per load), restrooms, showers, lounge and newly refinished pool. They also have a full service mechanical facility and dry boat storage. I am continually fascinated with “boats on shelves”. There is also a great restaurant, Marker 32
